BSECA’s Logo Usage Guidelines
1. Purpose of These Guidelines
These Logo Usage Guidelines define the rules governing the use of the BSECA name, logo, approval marks, and related visual identifiers.
The purpose of these guidelines is to protect the integrity, consistency, and professional reputation of BSECA.
2. Who May Use the BSECA Logo
Use of the BSECA logo or approval mark is permitted only by:
• Approved training providers
• Approved organisations
• Approved professionals
• Parties granted written authorisation by BSECA
Use of the logo is strictly limited to the approved scope.
3. Permitted Use of the Logo
Approved parties may use the BSECA logo or approval mark to:
• Indicate current approval status
• Reference alignment with BSECA accreditation frameworks
• Display approval on websites, brochures, and official marketing materials
All usage must remain factual and accurately reflect the approved scope.
4. Prohibited Use of the Logo
The BSECA logo or approval mark must not be used to:
• Imply official ISO certification
• Suggest government recognition or statutory authority
• Indicate endorsement of specific courses, products, or services beyond the approved scope
• Create the impression of guaranteed certification or outcomes
The logo must not be used in a misleading, exaggerated, or promotional manner.
5. Design and Presentation Rules
When using the BSECA logo or approval mark:
• The logo must not be altered, stretched, recoloured, or distorted
• The logo must not be combined with other logos or marks without approval
• Sufficient clear space must be maintained around the logo
• The logo must remain legible and proportionate
Unauthorised modifications are not permitted.
6. Placement and Context
The BSECA logo must be displayed only:
• In appropriate professional contexts
• Alongside accurate descriptive text
• In relation to the approved organisation or professional
The logo must not be displayed in a way that suggests ownership, partnership, or regulatory authority.
7. Monitoring and Enforcement
BSECA reserves the right to:
• Review logo usage at any time
• Request correction or removal of non-compliant usage
• Suspend or withdraw approval in cases of repeated or serious misuse
8. Withdrawal of Permission
Permission to use the BSECA logo or approval mark:
• Automatically ceases upon suspension or withdrawal of approval
• Must be discontinued immediately if requested by BSECA
Failure to comply may result in further action.
